Act 2
Narator =>
One day ………… her thread
( Dayang Sumbi
menjahit =sambil menyanyi kecil => benang jatuh )
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh no! my needle fall! Where is it? I can’t find mu needle!
Oh God, help me.”
(bingung mencari)
Narator =>
Dayang sumbi said a promise
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh God, I can’t find it. Anybody can help me? I promise, if any somebody can
find my needle, if he
is a man, I will marry him and if she is a woman, I will be
her sister.”
Narator => No
sooner …. Look for the needle.
Tumang : “Oh, beautiful woman. What can I do for you?
You look so confuse, and I her
your promise just
now.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh wonder dog, my needle fall and lost. I can’t find it.”
Tumang : “Don’t worry beauty. I, Tumang
will find it for you.”
(Tumang mencari jarum
hingga ketemu)
Tumang : “Beauty…”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Yeah, call me Dayang Sumbi, Tu…”
Tumang : “Tumang.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Ya”
Tumang : “I’ve found you needle, here you
are…”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh, thank you.”
Tumang : “You won’t forget your promise,
will you?”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Emmmm… ok Tumang.”
Narator =>And
finally, they had married and they had a son, named Sangkuriang. (sangkuriang
muncul)
One day, Dayang Sumbi wanted to
eat heart of the deer. She ordered his son to found it.
Act 3
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh my son, sangkuriang. Your mother want to eat the heart of the deer. Could
you find it for your
mother, son?”
Sangkuriang : “Of course Mom. May I got to the forest
with Tumang?”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Ok son, go with him. Becarefull….”
Sangkuriang : “Ok Mom.
Tumang came on…”
Tumang : “Guk… guk…guk ….”
(Sanguriang, Tumang, Dayang Sumbi keluar)
Act 4 (Forest)
Sangkuriang :
“Tumang, it so difficult. There is on deer here.”
Tumang : “Right….”
Sangkuriang :
“Let’s go there, may be there is some deer there.”
Tumang : “Ok…”
Narator =>
Sangkuriang couldn’t find any deer. After he thought a moment, he got an idea
to
replace deer’s heart with
Tumang’s heart. (Sangkuriang memandangi Tumang.
Tumang curiga)
Act 5
Sangkuriang :
“Tumang, are you love me and mother as your boss?” (berbisik)
Tumang : “Yes….What happen?”
Sangkuriang : “So, let give me your heart for us!”
Tumang : “No!!!” ( Tumang lari )
(Sangkuriang memanah
Tumang hingga jatuh)
Sangkuriang : “You
must die, Tumang!! Give me your heart!!
(nada tinggi dan sambil menusuk pisau)
Tumang : “No!! you’ve killed your father, boy…”
Sangkuriang :
“Shut up!! (mengambil jantung Tumang)
I success !!”
(sangkuriang pulang)
Act 6
Narrator =>
Then, sangkuriang give Tumang’s heart to his mother, but he sad if was deer’s
heart.
They ate it together.
Sangkuriang : “It
is so delicious Mom, isn’t it?”
Dayang Sumbi : “Yups, you’re great. You can make your
mother happy. Thanks for it, son.”
Sangkuriang : “Ok
Mom, you’re welcome. I will do everything for my beloved Mom.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh, good boy..
By the way, where is tumang?”
Sangkuriang :
(tersedak) “I don’t k k k know Mom.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Don’t lie son! I know you are lying.”
Sangkuriang :
“Selo Mom, selo…”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Tell me what happen with Tumang, son !!!!”
Sangkuriang :
“Emm, I’m sorry Mom… I’ve killed him and take it’s heart for Mom.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“What??!! You’re so stupid! You’ve killed your father !!”
(memukul kening sangkuriang)
Sangkuriang :
“Ouchhh… it so hurt…!!
Huhuhuhuu…..”
Dayang
Sumbi : “Go away from my sight! I don’t
want see the face of the killer!!”
(sangkuriang lari)
Act 7
Narrator =>
20 years later, sangkuriang grew into a charming and strong man and Dayang
Sumbi
still young and beautiful.
Sangkuriang met Dayang Sumbi and falling in love her.
Sangkuriang : “Oh
my God, what a beautiful woman she is!”
Assalamualaikum…
Dayang Sumbi :
“Walaikumsalam” (terpana)
Sangkuriang : “Oh, beautiful woman, you’re so
beautiful”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Oh, thank you.”
Sangkuriang :
“What is your name, beauty?”
Dayang Sumbi :
“me? Dayang Sumbi, and you?”
Sangkuriang : “Sangkuriang. Oh, sumbi, you make me fall
in love with you at the first time.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“So do I” (wajah malu-malu)
Sangkuriang : “Oh,
I like that statement. Sumbi, would you like to go to some place with me
tomorrow? I want to talk something with you.”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Hmmmm.. Ok Sangkuriang.”
Sangkuriang : “See
you tomorrow, beauty..”
(cium tangan dan keluar)
Act 8 A day
later
(sangkuriang
sudah menunggu)
Dayang Sumbi :
“I’m sorry, make you wait me..”
Sangkuriang : “No
problem beauty…”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Wait, what is on your head?”
Sangkuriang : “Whatt?”
Dayang Sumbi :
“Let me look your head”
(tak sengaja ikat kepala sangkuriang terlepas,
bekas luka terlihat, Dayang
Sumbi sadar)
Dayang
Sumbi : “(dalam hati) what is it? It look like my son’s wound twenty years ago.
Is he my
son? I can’t believe it. I fallin in love
with my son! No, I must stop this
relation!”
Sangkuriang
: “What is it, honey?”
Dayang
Sumbi : “Nothing.
Hmmm. Oke, you say you want talk something.
What that?”
Sangkuriang : “Yeah, of course..
Sumbi, I fallin in love with you at the first
time. I love you, sumbi. Would you
like to marry with me?”
Dayang
Sumbi : “Hah??”
(oh God.. What I have to do? I won’t marry
with my son..
But, I also don’t want to make him broken
heart?)
Sangkuriang : “What happen? Answer me honey…”
Dayang
Sumbi : (Ahaa!!!)
“Nothing, ok… I will
marry with you, but I have 2 requierment if you want to
marry me.”
Sangkuriang
: “Hmmm. Oke! I do it everything for you. Let,
say them..”
Dayang
Sumbi : “First, I want you make a dam in Citarum river.”
Sangkuriang
: “It easy…. And then?”
Dayang
Sumbi : “Second, you must make a big boat for me.”
Sangkuriang
: “Hmmmm, only that? It easy..!!”
Dayang
Sumbi : “But, you must be finished them in one night.”
Sangkuriang
: “Hmmmm, ok.. I’ll try to make them to night.
I will marry with you, believe
me….”
Dayang
Sumbi : “Ok, do it if you can…”

Narrator
=> Then, sangkuriang start to make dam and boat. But, sangkuriang failed to
finish
Them.
Dayang
Sumbi : “Sangkuriang, you’ve failed to finish my requirements. So, you will
never marry me. I;m sorry. Good bye…”
Sangkuriang
: “No…. it’s not fair !! I must marry with
you…!!”
Dayang
Sumbi : “O….. tidak bisa…”
Sangkuriang
: “You broken my heart!!”
(nendang perahu)
